Youth For Christ meets, in conjunction with Kids for Christ, on Wednesday afternoons during the school year from 3:30 pm until 6:00 pm. A program 6th grade – 12th grade program. We have devotionals, games, snacks, field trips, fellowship, fun activities and supper.  We enjoy being role models for KFC and when the younger ones are in the 6th grade we welcome them into YFC!

Our youth participate regularly within the church by attending Sunday School and Church, serving as ushers and acolytes, organizing meals such as pancake breakfasts and spaghetti lunches, helping out with church activities like Vacation Bible School…and lots more!

Mission work and community service are an important part of our youth program. The group has adopted two children, a boy in Bangladesh and a girl in China, whom they support with monthly donations, letters, and small gifts. They have been involved with the community in many ways. Examples include fundraising for local homeless shelters, gathering food for the food bank, participating in community clean-up activities, writing letters to the military at Christmas, putting together “comfort kits” for the American Red Cross, doing yard work for the elderly, and traveling to Dallas to work with inner city children.

Fellowship is  vital to our youth program.  YFC group members plan and enjoy a variety of activities like bowling, skating, boating, lock-ins, Bible study, retreats and youth conferences!

All of these activities allow our youth to grow in their

  • Friendship with each other
  • Faith in Jesus Christ
  • Focus on Bible study
  • Fellowship within the church community

Come grow with us in Faith, Friendship, Fellowship and Fun!
